When you open a Firmrater User Account your use of this website is governed by our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy and is conditional on you accepting these.

The following points give you a brief overview of our Privacy Policy but they are not in any way (nor should they be considered to be) a substitute for reading our Privacy Policy. If there is any contradiction between this overview and the wording of our actual Privacy Policy, our Privacy Policy will take precedence.

• We will not share or sell your personal details or email address and we will only use this information to manage your User Account.
• Your User Account is password protected and you must not share your password or other login details with anyone else. If you are a professional advisory firm using the Firmrater system on behalf of your clients, you must not give your login details to your clients or otherwise enable or allow them to access your User Account. Data transmission is encrypted when setting up a new User Account and when you are logged into your User Account.
• We do not ask for or hold any debit or credit card details as Subscriptions are paid for by electronic bank transfer. We only ask for your bank details if we need to pay a refund.
• The business data that you provide will be only be used anonymously. Neither you nor your firms will be identified to other users and, similarly, you will not be able to identify other users or their firms. This is to preserve your privacy and that of other users.
• We may calculate, publish or sell aggregated statistical data, such as indices, to third parties provided that it does not directly and uniquely indentify you or your firms. This may include publication outside the UK.
• Our website uses Google Analytics cookies to collect information about how visitors use our website. We also use temporary session cookies to aid your use of the site but they do not collect or transmit information about your use of the site nor any information about you or your firms. By opening a User Account you confirm that you agree to our use of cookies as referred to in our Privacy Policy.
• We will normally only communicate with you by email and only in connection with the operation of your User Account or in connection with our services.
