About Firmrater

Firmrater was designed in London during 2010, developed in early 2011 and launched as a brand new type of service to help smaller and medium sized UK firms benchmark their performance and identify how they could improve both financially and operationally.

The idea was formed because, while it is possible to find a lot of information about the performance of large and public companies which have to publish details at Companies House or for shareholders, it is much harder to find out how smaller firms are performing because they do not have to publish as much information.

We believe the owners of small and medium sized firms may be very interested in finding out how their firms are performing compared to a group of similar businesses and so the idea for Firmrater was born. We knew the service would have to be delivered online, be easy to use and be very low cost to encourage enough firms to subscribe and make the system useful for everyone.

Our team is drawn from the financial services, legal and technology industries, so we feel very well placed to develop and run an online business application such as Firmrater.

Firmrater Limited is based in London with all technology development and support being carried out in the UK. Our system is hosted on dedicated servers located in a secure UK data centre.
